50s Jewelry Set by Jewels by Du Boff 42nd St 5th Ave commands attention with its stunning quality. Elegant black jet and gold beads interplay to create a powerful statement. Three strands of beads identify it as dated to the classic 50s/60s. Matching tri-strand bracelet and necklace power this set. Clip earrings round out the matching group.
The origin of this set is unknown. However, research confirms it to be high quality and most likely from this 5th Avenue jeweler. Unsigned, the black bead set appears to be real jet due its light weight. However, french jet (or glass crystal) may also be its material. 
Gold filigree spacers and rondelles of rhinestones accent the black and gold beads. In addition, the gold beads present a ribbed fluting augmenting its beauty.
The three strand necklace measure 13″, 14″ and 15″. A 3″ adjustable beaded chain hangs at the closure. The three strand bracelet measures 7″. The clip earrings measure 1 1/4″ X 3/4″ with a gold filigree back.
The set was found in a box labeled Jewels by Du Boff 42nd St 5th Ave.
Excellent condition with little to no wear.
