Embroidered Pillowcases With Blue Pair

Isn’t it lovely to see the love and attention given to our basic home pieces?  This pair of pillowcases shows an embroidered motif of a floral bouquet in pinks and yellows tied with a blue ribbon. The edge is tatted with a blue scalloped edge measuring a 1/2″.  The pillowcases fit a standard pillow and are 21 X29″ and 20 3/4 X 29 1/2″. Starched (like Mom would do it…) they appear to be cotton but unsure of fabric.  There is minor yellowing to the total fabric and is due to age not to use.  There is one very small stain on each pillowcase in the corner.  To me, very insignificant.
