Bellestone Alligator purses project status in the 50s-60s.

This alligator purse displays all of that era’s classy features. Most significant is the trapezoid shape, the brass hardware and four studs on the bottom.  A Bellestone signature displays on the inner pocket. Because of the care given this purse during storage, the alligator exterior remains in excellent condition.

Due to the little wear to the purse, the handbag handle shows no crinks. The handbag measures 10″ X 8.5″ X 3.25″. The lining appears to be leather with 2 inner slit pockets. A zip compartment opens to a satin lining.

A receipt from Big Bear Markets hides in one of the pockets. Therefore, the location of the purse is San Diego, CA.
