Fun and easy describe this mod 60s vest revamp. Modified from a 60s mod mini dress, this vest projects the freedom of the era. Velvet bands embellish the shoulders. A thin velvet ribbon threads through the neckline creating an easy tie closure. Two hand dyed pink rosettes adorn the neckline while flower bobbles hang at the ends. Both embellishments stand out as refashioned vintage textiles.
The vest fits a small to medium. The model wears the vest as a petite. However, the vest is size friendly.
It measures 5″ on the shoulder bands and 16″ from shoulder to shoulder. The velvet bands measure 2″ wide. The total length of the vest measures 39″. Each bobble measures 3″ around and 1/2″ in depth. Pink, yellow and orange highlights the flower bobbles.
The model shows the vest with an upcycled bib collar not included.
This piece represents vintage revamp and supports the sustainable fashion ideology.
Due to its age, the lace exhibits some minor fading. Everything on the vest has been refashioned from vintage trim except the 2″ velvet on the shoulders and the 1/4″ velvet ties.
