50s Pearl and Clear Lucite Evening Purse Carved Handle

50s Lucite Purse in pearl finish and carved handle is regal and elegant.

50s Lucite Purse stuns with pearl-finish that wraps around the purse. In some spots the vinyl covering stretches around the body of the purse. This stretched application lifts a bit off the lucite. However, it does not detract from the overall appearance. The vinyl shows no splits or rips. The only flaw to the body is some yellowing due to age.

Most noteworthy are the carved lucite sides and handle. The silver hardware includes: 4 thin rods at the base for proper standing; a drop clasp; and ball-like attachments for the handle.

While the overall appearance is good, one lucite handle on the left side is chipped at the base near the ball hardware. It does not effect the functionality of the handle. However, under scrutiny it is visible.

The lucite purse measures 6 1/4″ wide 5″ tall and 5″ deep. The carved handle displays a leaf-like motif.

Due to the flaws, the purse is Sold As IS with an overall Fair condition.
