60s mod art glass vase is super fun.
Paint splatter in white drizzles over a yellow mod style vase to make a stupendous statement of 60s groovy. As a result, the glaze is by far the feature of the work. It even has a drizzling underneath on the outside bottom of the vase.
Measuring 8″ high and 4 1/2″ at the base, this 60s mod art glass vase tapers at the neck and has a 3″ opening. Seems like it has no visible imperfections and is a wonderful example of the mod era.
Most noteworthy, this type of glazing was popular in the 50s and 60s by reputable glass makers like Myrica. The glaze was certainly inspired by the Jackson Pollock craze of that same era. Consequently, this vase is great for an art collector.
What a stunning vase for a bouquet of bountiful daisies! Or, most of all, it is just a beauty just to look at!
EXCELLENT condition.
