70s Glass Ashtray Soreno Aqua Blue

The Soreno pattern exemplifies 70s art glass. Aqua blue color accessories many homes during this era. Made by Anchor Hocking.
It measures 8 3/4” round, 2 1/4” tall and weighs 2 1/2 lbs. The Soreno pattern ashtrays came in three sizes. This is the largest size. The rim measures 1 1/4″ around.
The ashtray overall looks good. When you run your hand around the inner rim edge, you can feel small chips in the glass. One chip is most visible. It measures 1/2″ X 1/4″. Because of the illusory effect of the ribbed texture, the wear is barely noticeable.
Four openings suit small cigars, cigarettes and smaller smokes. Thick sturdy glass. Dishwasher safe. Can be used as candle holder and incense burner when not in ash service.
