40s Mesh Glove
The 40s mesh glove in ecru projects elegance. The knit glove stretches to accommodate sizing. A delicate satin border finishes the scalloped cuff. A snap closes the wrist with stitchery decorating the glove face. These gloves may have been hand stitched and crocheted in keeping with artisanal fashion of the era.
One small repair measures 1/2″ located at the wrist area of the palm side. No other weaknesses appear in the knit. Nor do the gloves show significant discoloration or staining. Normal vintage wear.
