Hand knit, the coat represents the enterprise and power of the 60s decade. A simple raglan sleeve and open neck allows for easy layering. Black piping accents the inside lining edge. Orange satin lines the coat. There are no closures or pockets. Glove sleeves date this to early to mid sixties.
The coat measures 17″ across the shoulders. The bust measures 50″. However, because the coat has no closures, the size is relative. You could wear it closed or open. The armhole of the sleeve measures 14″ down the raglan seam. No darts at the bust. The lining shows a center pleat to accommodate the stretch of the knit. The sleeves measure 20″ Outer/12″ Inner seam.
The model wears a modern 6-8. The owner was said to be petite. No wear or stains.
