50s Black Wool Velvet Coat Fit Flare Style
Heavy weight black velvet and off black wool comprise this 50s black wool velvet coat. A Fit and Flare silhouette projects 50s style. Shiny black satin lines the coat. Its most magnificent characteristic is the striping along the skirt. Three stripes of 1″ velvet encircle the flared skirt sewn in perfect symmetry.
Three covered buttons run down the front of the fitted bodice. A gentle sewn on belt adorns the waistline. The collar gently rolls at the neckline. A frayed manufacturers label hides in the lining seam. No other labels.
Flat the coat measures 17″ across the bust, 14″ across the waist, 22″ across the hips. The full length measures 45″ from shoulder to hem. Across the shoulders measures 15″. From shoulder to cuff the sleeve measures 22″ and 15″ from armhole to cuff.
There are no significant wear issues to the coat. The model is a modern 2P-4P.
