Levi denim is common and the infamous red Levi tag is too. The manufacturing of denim has evolved throughout the decades. In the early days of Levi Strauss, a varying weave of denim was used. This jacket is representative of an earlier denim production which is evidenced by the tag which spells Levi with a big “E”. Known to collectors as big “E” Levis, this is a jacket of this era. The tag says “44”. From armhole to armhole is 21″ and the sleeve from armhole to cuff is 19″. It is in excellent condition.
