Beaded cardigans are iconic fashion images of the 50’s. This beaded cardigan has an amazingly opulent design of gold beading on both sides of the front that line the neck, bottom and sleeves. A gold satin piping also hugs the edge of the whole sweater including the neckline and cuffs. The ivory lining is poly or nylon and shows no wear. The only imperfection to the sweater is a series of faint stains to the front side which shows in the lining. It is greenish in hue and could be a slight copper oxidation or pen ink. I really had to look for it. The amazing beauty of the beaded front totally takes my breath away. The beading appears to be in near perfect condition. Little to no pilthing or moth holes. Measures flat 21″ across the bust and 21″ across the bottom. Shoulders are 16″. Shoulder to cuff is 21 1/2″. Armhole to cuff is 16″. Splits on the bottom sides allow for extra hip sizing. Good condition. As Is.
