Opulent pink scalloped lace serves to make elegance feminine and fantastic in this ART DECO gown! A simple neckline and lace covered buttons in the back are the coveted vintage details. The gown measures 60″ from tip of shoulder to hemline. The set-in waist has a peplum that adds a second layer of opulence and makes it definitely late 30’s or early 40’s. A metal zipper is set into the bodice and has a clever pink fabric covering. (The zipper is made by Waldes). Snaps finish off the zipper opening. The waist is 26″around with a hip size of 40″. The bodice measures 16″ from shoulder top to waist. The skirt is 44″ from waist to floor.
The model is petite. She is 5′ 1″ and weighs 120. Probably a modern 2P or 4P.
The gown is lined with a pink satin gown. It has spaghetti straps, V neckline and shoulder pads of the same fabric. Two fabric loops are used for proper hanging. We think the lining is rayon and not acetate (unsure). The inner sheath measures 34″ bust/ 26″ waist/ 40″ hips.
