This two piece ivory lounge set says FLAPPER LUXURY.
Entertaining was the hobby of the decade. Even in the early evening women dressed like it was a party. Lounge wear became common dress code. This two piece has a wrapped top with casual right pocket. The jacket is by far the most stunning of the outfit. The belt wraps in an easy way making it sexy and sleek showing off the beauty of rayon and its perfect draping. The hem of the jacket is hand picked. The sleeves have a neat scallop detail. The inside of the jacket is unlined. All the seams are finished with pinking shears . The pants have a waistband that closes with hooks and eyes and snaps. The hem on the pants is machine made. The fabric is a rayon damask with a subtle floral weave.
The length of the jacket is 34″ from shoulder to hem. Its width from shoulder to shoulder is 14″. The shoulder top to end of sleeve is 21 1/2″.
The pants have a 25″ waistband and measures across the hips 40″. There are darts at the waist making this area fuller. The pants measure 38″ from waistband to hem and 24″ from crotch to hem.
The model is PETITE 5″1″ tall and weighs 120 lbs. She is probably a modern 2P or 4P.
The label says Robert with a treble clef logo.
The overall condition of this item is GOOD. It is wearable AS IS but has some minor staining issues that need to be noted. Armholes have some yellowing stains. There are water marks on the back of the jacket probably from perspiration or wet hair (pic). The seat of the pant also has some water staining. Small brownish stains are on the pant legs. (pic) The pocket edge has a small hole which is minor and repairable. (pic) The armhole seam is fraying and needs a slight repair. (pic)
